Jeff and I met on a Tuesday night at Panama Joes.  We both were simply out to enjoy some tacos and drinks with friends, neither of us expected to meet the person we would one day marry. :)  Luckily, Jeff had some very outgoing friends who convinced my best friend Jessica and I to eat with their group.  After getting to know everyone else, Jeff and his good friend Todd made their way over to where we were sitting.  The four of us spent the rest of the night talking and hanging out at a near by bar on Second Street.  Jeff and I had so much fun together that we went on our first official date two nights later at La Palapa.
Jeff and I moved in together after a year of dating.  At the same time we also got our puppy Shay.  In this past year we both got teaching jobs out in Redondo Beach and now work together in the same school district.  Everything has fallen into place so perfectly for us both and now, two years from when we met, Jeff propsed on the beach outside of La Palapa.  The rest is history... :)

We recommend the Westin, the Hyatt, or the Renaissance.
Sea Port Marina Hotel is also located near the venue.
