Fabian and JoEllen met on match.com in early September 2010, both looking for a second chance at love.  As fate would have it, they were matched together by the grace of God's hand.  After a couple of weeks of emails and phone conversations, Fabian and I agreed to meet.  I can still remember the first time I saw Fabian getting out of his car in my driveway.  My heart was pounding through my chest with anticipation.  I would finally put a face to the voice I had been hearing over the phone for weeks.  It was September 18th, 2010 and Fabian introduced himself, and after the casual chatting we went together to breakfast. For the rest of the morning, we found ourselves locking eyes on more than one occasion.  Conversation seemed very natural and you could feel the chemistry between us almost instatanious.  We ended up spending the rest of the morning together. The morning flew by and I had to get to work and he had to drive to Dallas.  I had a funny feeling when he drove off that it would not be the last time I saw him.  From that day on we talked on the phone daily, wrote endless emails back and forth and saw each other on the weekends. After four mounths together our journey took me to Colombia over Christmas where I fell madly in love with Fabian and the magic of Cartagena.  Throughout the year our love for each other has continued to grow! He is my best friend and together we have been through so much already. We couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another!  When we decided to marry we couldn't think of a better place then the city we fell in love!

Our ceremony will be at Santo Toribio de Mangrovejo in Cartagena, Colombia.  Our ceremony will be a real life fairytale wedding in a magical city. It is only a matter of time until I take those first steps down the aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs. Fabian Bocanegra! This will be an event to remember and we can't wait to share it with all of you!

Our reception will be fun & festive! Please join us and celebrate our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Bocanegra! There will be dining, drinks, dancing, live entertainment, good times for all! Our wedding reception will immediately follow our ceremony.
