We met on eharmony, traveled to Frederick, MD for our first date and then on to Harrisburg, PA for New Years; New York City for Valentine's Day; Camping near Charlottesville, VA for Spring Break; Ocean City, MD for Memorial Day weekend; Philadelphia, PA for Independence Day and Gettysburg, PA the week before Eric proposed. We'll be married on May 30th in Gettysburg and hope that our travels will not end there!

Our Wedding will be in Gettysburg, PA on May 30th, 2010. We chose that location because though Beth is an Episcopalian, Eric was never so enthusiastic about an Episcopal Service as he was in September of 2009 when we visited the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church on 20 W. High Street. Reverend Kate Kelderman, it turns out graduated with Beth at Virginia Theological Seminary- different track, but same ceremony! Gettysburg is also close to Eric's family and a meaningful place of historical significance to Eric- the history buff that he is! The historical bell tower in the church is very cool!

We will be receiving our guests at the Inn at Herr Ridge Bed and Breakfast in Gettysburg. Beth's brother is the master of ceremonies and the Dill pickers (www.dillpickers.com) will be playing at the reception. Our first order of business will be to saw a log outside the B & B. It's a german tradition that symbolizes any challenge we might face in our future that we will certainly overcome! We hope to see you there!

We hope to travel to Palm Springs this summer as a honeymoon get-a-way. If work obligations do not allow us to make the trip this year, we will sure to take our honeymoon by our first year anniversary!

We hope that this occasion is a chance for us to get together with our friends and family in a spirit of celebration of our new life together. Come and meet, dance and celebrate- for we are overjoyed and want you to experience this joy with us!
