Jae and I met in October of 2007. Jae lived in Stratford at the time, and I soon started driving 30 to 40 minutes from Wallingford any night I could. When the guys he rented the house with decided to go their own ways the next summer, we were at a crossroads. Did I let him move away, perhaps all the way to Florida or did we move in together? July 2008 we signed the lease on our apartment in New Haven and haven't looked back. There have been good times and bad; serious illness, promotions, car accidents, and more. Most days are comfortable and full of joy, spent watching movies and playing with our two cats(kids), Geno and Sylvie.
