As with all great relationships, Geoff and Venessa started out as good friends. They met while attending Hazen High back in 1999 in DECA, a marketing class. It was Geoff’s second year in the program and Venessa’s first who took it out of pure curiousity. Sitting in the second row, she quickly became annoyed with Geoff tossing pieces of paper into the hood of her jacket.

Always a competition, their friendship sprouted from learning how to make spit wads at Dennys to trying to have a contest on who could swim first to the buoy down at Kennydale Beach (as we’re sure everyone should know who won THAT race since Venessa cant really swim….)

Venessa went to college at the University of Washington while Geoff went to Bellevue Community College where they eventually lost touch altogether; and it would be quite a few years before they met back up.

Finally, in late 2006, Geoff was playing a Halloween gig for Endless Grey which he had invited Venessa to (via MySpace of all things) and she finally decided to go. Their friendship quickly picked back up, and as 2007 progressed it became obvious to the both of them that it was becoming more….

And now here we are, 12 years since that first annoying encounter getting ready to make the ultimate commitment to each other :-)

Our Wedding will be held at Geoff's parents home in North Bend (thanks Randy & Leola!)

Parking will be on-site, but it will be a tight squeeze. We will have friends to help coordinate.

It will be a semi-formal OUTDOOR wedding, so ladies, make sure you think of your shoe options! The Ceremony will be starting at 4:30pm on 07/23/2011

The Reception will be held at the same location as well so no worries on having to relocate after the Ceremony completes.

There will be dinner served, Italian style with both red and white sauce options. There will also be an open bar, as well as many tasty non-alcoholic beverages if you wish to not partake.

A photo area will be set up off to the side where our photography will do any portrait shots you would like, and they will be available for purchase from his website after the event. So make sure you look snazzy, it will be up for 1-2 hours.

We are both very excited to start the next chapter of our lives and are happy with everyone that can come. We want everyone to celebrate and have as much fun as possible....we know WE will!
