It all began in 1997 while we were in the 7^th grade at Ferrucci Junior H.S. in Puyallup, WA.  Joshua and I were acquaintances for all three years of junior high.  Life took many twists and turns over the next five years as I left WA to live in Southern FL in 2000.  After living in FL for a year I returned to WA as a Junior at Emerald Ridge H.S. in Puyallup.  It didn't take long after moving back that we bumped into each other again.  Although, we knew each other we didn’t hang out and only shared one class together in junior and senior year.  In the spring of senior year Josh asked me to Senior Ball.  I was a little hesitant, seeing how I had probably spent a total 30 minutes talking to him in highschool but just for fun I said yes.  The dance was a night of awkward slow dancing and long silence between us but somehow everyday after that in the summer of 2003 we became very close friends and over the next year, the friendship grew into a relationship.
